Match report
Having won the toss, Loddington did very well to restric the visitors to just 268 off thir 16 overs. Both bowling and fielding were good despite the poor conditions under foot..Pebz took full advantage of the slippery surface managing to slide a full 10 meters before falling flat on her back side!!! Beth and Chloe were the pick of the bowlers with Evie also picking up a couple of wickets for her efforts. Catching was not easy in the wet but a fantastic mullett-speed run out combination brought another wicket keeping the girls in the hunt.
However it wasnt to be as, barring amy and Sophie's partnership of 24, we were unable to mount a serious chalenge. Our downfall being the loss of a few too many wickets at vital times. All in all though, another very good effort from the girls as they continue to impress!!! Much to her credit, Amy was again unbeaten with that bat, but it was beth who was this weeks player of the match thanks to a fantasic bowling display of 2-15 off 3 and 4not out. Well done!
